The Newfoundland Guernsey Cardigan is designed by Barbara Harpur and written by Lisa Chatzikirou, and featured in the Netflix series BELOW! In fact, Barbara herself knit the cardigan you see on screen!
About This Yarn
Briggs & Little Heritage is a classic, rustic 100% wool yarn that has been a staple for Canadian crafters for generations. Proudly spun and dyed in New Brunswick, this 2-ply worsted weight yarn is celebrated for its incredible durability, rich texture, and timeless character.

This Pitcher Plant colourway is custom dyed just for us by Briggs & Little Woolen Mills on their Heritage 100% Canadian wool base, and captures the rich tones of Newfoundland and Labrador’s provincial flower.

Pattern Details
The Cardigan is knit flat from the bottom up and seamed together for a structured finish. It features raglan sleeves for a contemporary fit.
NEEDLES and NOTIONS (not included)
- 4.0 mm (US 6) and 5.0 mm (US 8) knitting needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
- Crochet Hook size 5.0mm (H-8) for seaming (optional)
