I have been asked by many when will COCO be hosting an online KAL featuring TAAT sock KAL. Well, here it is! This will be an exciting online KAL!
This KAL will feature Staci Perry’s pattern “2 Socks at-a-Time, Magic Loop”.
Now, do not get intimidated by the ‘Magic Loop’ method! This is easier than you think!
And you can say farewell to the one sock syndrome. You will be completing your socks faster and with even tension better than before.
There is a lot to pack in, so please read all the details below.
This is an online community knit. We will be working our socks over 7 sessions.
There is a 7-part online video tutorial that accompanies the pattern.
The pattern suits Child (5-10 years old), Women, Men (any size, all average widths).
For beginners to TAAT, Staci recommends we start with worsted weight before tacking a sock or fingering weight yarn/wool.
I have chosen an affordable worsted weight; Briggs and Little in Regal. The colour will be your choice.
If you miss one of the online KAL’s, do not worry, the KAL will be recorded and the session will be sent to you so you can catch up easily.

FAQ’s
Q: How many skeins will I need?
A: You will need 2 skeins of Briggs and Little Regal of the same colour. The wool will be caked for you, so you are ready to start.
Q: What size needles will I need?
A: You will need one set of 40-inch 4.5 mm circular needles.
Q: What other supplies will I need?
A: You will need stitch markers, tapestry needle, worsted weight scrap yarn of a different colour and a crochet hook.
Q: Do I need to know how to crochet?
A: No, you do not need to know how to crochet. Everything is explained in Part 1 of the video tutorial.
Q: What if I do not want to join the KAL:
A: This is completely understandable, please use the links above to download the pattern and work at your own pace.
Q: What if I miss a session(s) for the KAL once I sign up?
A: This is not an issue. The KAL sessions are recorded and will be sent to you so you can catch up easily at your own pace.
Q: Are there refunds or exchanges?
A: Unfortunately, no, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once you are registered for the KAL.
Q: What am I purchasing when I register for the KAL?
A: You are purchasing your ZOOM registration. You are required to purchase and download the pattern. This allows you to have the pattern in your own Ravelry library for your own future reference and online use such as downloading to KnitCompanion applications etc. You will be required to purchase and/or provide your own notions, needles & wool. I’ve offered a discount code for the wool & needles if you require.

A: September 16, 17, 23, 24 & October 1st at 7pm Newfoundland Standard Time Zone.
Q: What is the deadline to register:
A: The last day to register to ensure supplies are sent to you is Friday August 30th.
